The Mitsubishi Pajero (which we knew as the Montero) is a lesser-known alternative to the Toyota Land Cruiser, as it boasts excellent off-road capabilities, a spacious interior, and dependable engines. Although this version of the Montero was offered in the United States, this is a Japanese-market model with numerous country-specific features including a 2.8-liter turbodiesel 4-cylinder engine with a stout 217 lb-ft of torque. This Montero is also an automatic, so it's easier to drive daily than a manual – and it boasts relatively low indicated mileage and reasonably minor modifications. The third-row seats are a nice feature, too, as they let this SUV carry 6 passengers. US Title Texas Title. Japanese Import
